Apples, Apples, Apples!

This week was filled with fun apple activities! In addition to our apple cider doughnuts, we had a taste test of three different types of apples. We sampled Mcintosh, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious apples.

   Then we made a graph of our favorite kinds of apples! 9 tots chose Golden Delicious as the tastiest apple!

On Thursday we read non-fiction stories about apples. We practiced labeling pictures and labeled the parts of an apple. 

After all of their hard work they were rewarded with a cup of apple cider! 

On Friday we made apple puppets and sequenced the life cycle of an apple tree.

 We saved the best apple treat for last; mini apple pies! We crushed graham crackers, diced up apples and mixed them with cinnamon and sugar. We added some whipped cream on top to make it an extra sweet treat!

Overall, we had an AWESOME apple week!!

 We ended our week by picking Olivia and Brandon's name from the fish tank! Two cheer for my tots. Keep up the acts of kindness!
