You received an invitation to the Q and U wedding on Friday! We are learning our last letter, Q. We learned that q and u stick together in words such as quack, quick, Quinn, queen. We are celebrating the two letters by hosting a wedding.
We've invited all students to wear their finest dress attire to school. This celebration is for children only. If you have any questions, feel free to email me!

St. Patrick's Day
Last week was jam packed with a snow day, three early dismissals, conferences and a visit from the leprechaun!
We read books about St. Patrick's Day and made rainbow projects. Thank you to all of the families who participated in the March family project! We have so many reasons to feel lucky!!
In math we used Lucky Charms to sort and graph the marshmallows. Then we enjoyed a yummy snack.
After lunch, we came back to a disaster from the leprechaun! He left us a note and tricked us!!
We had 15 friends who wore green on Friday! Check out Morgan and Grace's adorable headbands!
On Friday, Jacquelyn was the Celebrity of the Week! She told her friends she loves to eat brownies and when she's not at school she likes to play with her sister Melanie. She brought in her Frozen snow globe to share.
Two Cheers for My Rox Stars!
Two cheers for my tots who completed all of their February journals from their book in a bag! Keep up the good work!

Hat Day and Pajama Day
We ended our Dr. Seuss week with a hat day and pajama day! On Thursday, we read Cat in the Hat and made hats with rhyming words. Thank you to the Vega family for sending in a special Dr. Seuss snack!
On Friday, we had a cozy pajama day and a yummy treat of milk and cookies from the Farson family.
Ben was our Celebrity of the week and brought in his stuffed animals to share with his friends!
WHAT A WEEK! Happy Read Across America Day!!
Wacky Wednesday and Crazy Sock Day!
Wednesdays were meant to be wacky! We had different colored hair, inside out clothes, multiple pony tails and CRAZY socks! Thank you to the Combest tree for sending us in a cheese tree for our wacky snack!
We even kicked off our shoes and had a sock parade around Roxbury!
Mrs. Barford and I took this opportunity to get wacky too!!
Green Eggs and Ham
Day 2 and 3 of Dr. Seuss week did not disappoint. 14 tots wore green, and ALL of us enjoyed a sweet treat from the Diaz family. We read the story, Green Eggs and Ham. We wrote about our favorite foods we want to eat instead of green eggs and ham, and watched the old cartoon version of the story.
One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish
We kicked off Dr. Seuss week with lots of red and blue! All tots were asked to wear red, blue or both.
We graphed how many friends wore, red, blue, or both.
Thank you to the Burston family, for sending in yummy rainbow goldfish. We sorted these and determined which color we had the most of, and which we had the least of.
We used Andy Addition to make number sentences and listened for rhyming words in the story!
Next up...Green Eggs and Ham!
