Summer!!

It has been my pleasure teaching all of my tots this school year. We made some wonderful memories. I wish them the best of luck in first grade. Enjoy your summer!!!!!!!!!

Serenity's Birthday

Today we celebrated Serenity's 6th birthday; Happy Birthday!!

And tomorrow we celebrate and reflect back on our wonderful year together. I can not believe that tomorrow is the last day of school. It has been an exciting and fun year with my tots.  I am definitely going to miss them!!!! 

Kindergarten Fun Day!

We didn't let the rain hold us back from having fun on Monday! All of our activities took place inside different kindergarten classes. We played Freeze Dance, Wonder Ball, Musical Chairs, got tattoos, face paintings, did some hula hooping and played with beach balls!

All of this fun was followed by a pizza party lunch in the classroom!! We ended our  fun filled Monday with a visit from an ice cream truck!

This was a well-deserved celebration for my tots! 3 Days to go and they are first graders!

Reminder: The next 3 days of school are early release days! Dismissal begins at 1:10 pm.

Summer Birthdays and Goodbyes

This week was full of celebrations! We began celebrating our summer babies! Sydney and Justin both brought in treats for their 6th birthdays, which are in July and August!

  on Thursday, we said an early goodbye to Matthew! He kicked off  his summer break  with a trip to Colombia with his family! Everyone was sad to see him go, but are relieved to know they will see him in first grade!

  We ended our week with a school wide outside assembly for Flag Day.

*If you have signed up to volunteer, please come to school at 9:00 to help set up!*

 Remember... no need to pack a lunch, we are having pizza!! However, please send your child to school with a snack! 

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are early release days.

Friday is the last day of kindergarten!!!

Field Trip to the Zoo!

Our day started off with a lot of rain and ended with sunshine! Aside from the rain, my tots enjoyed their trip to the zoo! It was a day filled with wild animals, wild weather and wild children! :)

We ended our day back at the playground at Roxbury.

Getting Ready for First Grade...

2 weeks to go until this wonderful year comes to an end and we are taking advantage of  every minute to make sure all of my tots are prepared for first grade! We have been practicing our manners and  quiet reading time. We are up to a total of 9 minutes!! Here they are (looking oh so independent) reading!!

We also celebrated our first "Summer Birthday" this past week. Matthew celebrated his August birthday early with yummy cupcakes, strawberries and goodie bags! 

Looking ahead...

Tomorrow is the field trip to the zoo! Please remember a bagged lunch and to wear sneakers.

Monday, June 15th is our kindergarten party. Please remember to send in $3.00 for pizza and if you are able to volunteer that day, please let me know!

Wednesday, June 17th, Thursday, June 18th and Friday, June 19th are all early release days. Friday June 19th is the last day of school.

We had so much fun at field day! Our day consisted of a picnic lunch, 19 different stations, watermelon and popsicles!  Thank you to the families that joined us this afternoon. For those of you that could not make it, no worries! I took lots of pictures.

Few reminders...

This will be the LAST week of homework and book-in-a-bag! Please make sure to return all books this week! 

Please send in $3.00 for your child's pizza for our end of the year party on June 15th. We need the $3.00 by Friday, June 12th! 

Monday, June 8th is our rescheduled field trip day, please be sure to return your permission slip! 

I am sure my tots will be exhausted tonight from all of the running around they did...you're welcome! HaHa! :) Have a good night!
