Happy Birthday Rebecca!

Yesterday we celebrated Rebecca's 6th birthday! She brought in a delicious treat and apple juice!
Thank you to Sophia today for bringing in apples to share with the class. We enjoyed refreshing apples after recess.
We practiced our first lock down drill today and everyone did a wonderful job.

Each day we are discussing classroom rules. Please talk to your child about keeping their hands, feet and body to themselves . We have had a few incidents in the classroom, and my goal is for Room 202 to be a safe and comfortable environment for all! :)

Please continue to work on the family Jack-O-Lantern project! The Jack-O-Lantern is due Tuesday, October 6th.

I hope to see you all on Thursday at 6:00! Have a great night!

First Week of Kindergarten!

We have survived our long and hot first week of kindergarten! All of my tots worked so hard to adjust to the routines and demands of kindergarten. We enjoyed many stories this week about friendship and feelings. One of our favorite activities this was week was going to our specials such as gym, art and music. We especially loved free choice centers! We ended the week with Jayden's 5th birthday celebration!
Here are some pictures of my tots in action throughout the week.

Some friends in the reading corner.
