Apples, Apples, Apples!!

This week was filled with fun, hands on apple activities! We read apple stories, tasted them, enjoyed cold crisp apple cider and made apple graphs! An apple tree even grew in the hall near our classroom. You'll have to see it at Open House!

These are some pictures of my tots enjoying Granny Smith, Macoun and Golden Delicious Apples.

Not only did we learn about apples, but we practiced the Letter A and learned the sight word ME!

Next week's letter: D Next week's sight words: See, you

Wednesday is an early release day, please plan accordingly!

Thursday, October 1st is Open House Night! I hope to see everyone there at 6:00! More information will go home on Monday.

The Scholastic Book Fair will also take place this week at Roxbury. We will preview books as a class, and their "wish list" will be sent home. If you choose to purchase books for them you can send money in an envelope to school. You can also purchase books at Open House.

Jack-O-Lanterns are due Wednesday, October 6th! Here is one we got back already! I can't wait to see the rest! Be creative! :)

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy this beautiful weather!
