Apples, Apples, Apples!

We have begun our apple unit and it has been filled with fun treats and crafts! Thank you to the Capolupo, Combest and Bruno family for donating apple treats for the class to taste!

First, we sampled three types of apples. We tried McIntosh, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious. Everyone enjoyed the McIntosh, but as you can tell from the pics below, my tots had different opinions about the Granny Smith apples!

   We then voted on our favorite, and for the second year in a row, Golden Delicious comes in first!

I think we all could agree that the apple cider and apple sauce were yummy!!

 In addition to our taste testing, we read apple books, played apple games and made an apple craft to go with the letter of the week, A!
