Math Centers

This week in math we reviewed addition and met Susie Subtraction!


We learned that Susie likes to take things away. We also learned she has a different sign than Andy Addition.

Another skill we are working hard  to master is our tricky teen numbers!

Here's a look at some of our centers from this week.

The first center was practicing addition skills with spinners and lady bug counters.
   The focus of this center was  one-to-one counting and teen number identification.

Last was our  dice quick look center. My tots rolled the dice, counting the dots and found the picture that matched.

Please continue to count with your child at home. A great time to do this is in the car! The end of the year kindergarten expectations are that my tots will identify and write numbers 1-20 and count all the way to 100!
