Week at a Glance!

This week was all about FROGS! We read informational texts about frogs, as well as fiction books with frogs as characters. We made a list of facts as a class and came up with 16 different frog facts. We also made projects sequencing a frog's life cycle.

 We reviewed all letters and sounds as well as the digraphs (-sh -ch -th -wh). We also worked on -ing ending in our reading groups!

We read a fun story called Cinco De Mouseo in honor of Cinco De Mayo! 

We finished out the week with free choice math centers! The variety of centers are all skills we've been working on over the past month. 

                            This center is practicing addition facts.

     Kelson and Dominick are working on place value with tens and ones!

   The girls are reviewing subtraction facts with a mouse math game!

 

  Darlin, Sabrina and Juan are practicing counting by 5's using the spin and tally game!

   And one of our favorites… Dreambox!
