February Book-in-a-Bag Journal

The February journal looks quite different than the January journal! With this beginning, middle and end chart, please have your child choose one story from the week to write about. They are to draw a picture of something in the beginning of the story, the middle and the end. Please note, this is a lot more difficult than asking your child what their favorite part was.

Please use your judgment when filling out the journal. If your child is only able to draw pictures, and verbally tell you what happened, then do that. If your child is able to write a sentence to go with the picture, then have them do that. I do not want to add any homework stress to already busy lives!
