Recap of the Week

We began our week with Lucas's 5th birthday celebration,

and ended it with the Apex Fun Run! Our class ran their little hearts out surrounded by parents and Apex volunteers cheering them on.

                                                                 We had so much fun!

In reading we began our unit on Non-fiction books! The kids loved learning facts about the way animals move, and have begun writing their own five senses book!

In math we learned about those tricky teen numbers and how the 1 has to go first!!

If you have not returned your book-in-a-bag signed contract please do so ASAP so your child can start taking out books.

If your child was given an alphabet bag to practice their letters, please return all materials inside the bag ASAP so I can update their bags.

If you have not turned your turkey in, it is not too late! Send it in when it is finished! They look adorable displayed in the hallway!

Be on the look out for an email from the room moms regarding our Thanksgiving feast and donations!
