Love is in the Air!!

The week leading up to Valentine's Day was filled with hearts and love! We did many Valentine themed projects in both reading and math.
In math, we practiced adding by making love bugs with heart stickers to show two groups. These are displayed on our bulletin board! We read the story, Its Raining Hearts. We made umbrellas, and used two different colored hearts to add together.  We also used heart shaped fruit snacks to add.

In literacy, we wrote about things we LOVE and why. We also strengthened our little fingers but crumpling tissue paper to decorate hearts.

In preparation for our Valentine's Day party, we decorated bags that we would use to receive valentines from our friends! We had so much sticking stickers and glitter all over the bags! Thank you to the parents who donated items to decorate with.

Check back for pics from our sweet party!

100th Day!!

We made it to 100 days! That means my tots are 100 days smarter. I am SO proud of all they have learned so far and cant wait to watch them grow over the next 80 days!

I was impressed when all of the 100 collections returned to school. They are displayed in the hallway and everyone is complimenting how wonderful they are.

We didn't let a 2 hour delay take away from our 100 celebration. Here is a look into our day. Luckily we had prepped our crazy 100 dot hats the day before, so we plopped them on as soon as a we got to school for this photo op.

100 day dance party!

Thank you to the Bruno family for donating this adorable 100 day snack. We sure enjoyed the yummy cookies and graham cracker.

After our tasty snack, we got to work using a number grid to count to 100!! We made fruit loop necklaces that had 100 pieces on them.

Next, we worked together to build a puzzle that...you guessed it, had 100 pieces!

We took a walk to see our 100 Acts of Kindness tree! Thank you for returning the hearts, the tree looks beautiful!

What a great day!

Happy 100th Day!
XOXO
